Metallica Death Magnetic tour 2010 in Russia's new Zenit stadium


American heavy metal band Metallica will tour their new album Death Magnetic in Russia in 2010.Metallica is from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1981

James Hatfield and Co. will perform two concerts in Russia in 2010 during their world tour to promote their Death Magnetic album. One show will be staged in the capital, Moscow, the other in Saint Pete at Zenit’s stadium.



These concerts will be held in 2010. The band will be on the opening of a new stadium in St. Petersburg when its construction is finished.

Before the 2008 visit to St. Petersburg and the 2007 visit to Moscow, the band had played in the country only once, at a rock festival in 1991.

Over 200 million of copies of Metallica's albums have been sold worldwide, making them the most commercially successful metal act.
